what can i do for migraines, Insomnia and a stuffy nose while pregnant?
I know alot of different things going on.Does anyone else have these problems and what do you do that actually helps?
For all three, make sure that you’re drinking plenty of water. At least 8 oz, every hour or so. Babies take up a lot of water to grow in utero, and a first signal of dehydration is headaches. I also think the headaches are caused by you being tired, from the insomnia. Tylenol extra strength is ok to take.
Cut down the stress. Take a nap as often as you can. Get into a comfortable position, get a couple extra pillows. Do all the things that you do, to get yourself to sleep.
For the stuffy nose, this is also common in pregnancy. Make sure that your house has a proper humidity level. Keeping yourself hydrated will help this too. If you’re stuffy like you have a cold, plug in a humidifier (no medicine in it) at night. There is an age old remedy for stuffy noses, drink apple juice. Believe it or not, it helps clear the sinuses.
